Our Day Out…

Today we went to Niles, a town south of us about 30 minutes, and we went to Olive Garden!! It was very fun, and here are some pics… now they were taken with a cell phone that doesnt take the best pictures… Oh well!! They dont have to be perfect do they?!?!

Our Family Project!

This Christmas one of our friends gave us a 750 piece puzzle, now some of you may think that is relatively small as far as puzzles go, but this one is a doozie!! Here is a picture of the box, and you can probably tell why it would be so hard!It is three almost identical lighthouses, that basically have the same colors!! This is gonna be fun!!

Here we go,  2 hours into it, we have separated some of the pieces, and found all of the edges, then we put the edges together!!

It is three feet long, and I dont know if we are gonna get done with it tonight, the edges are relativly “easy”, so the middle is going to be hard!! I will get a post up at various times during the process, and we will try to see how many hours this takes!!

Chevrolet Trucks!!

In contrast to my sisters latest post on her blog, I have decided to carry on the Greenfield legacy and tradition of thinking of the other brand of truck as  four letter word… Much to my sisters demise, I will post some pics of some sweet Chevy trucks!!

Kenwood TS-570D

Hey all, I know it has been a while since I have posted, so I decided to do a post on my Kenwood TS-570D High-Frequency(HF) amateur radio!!

This is my first ham shack, Yaaaaa!! When I get my antenna up, a Tennadyne TD-90, I will get a picture of that on here… It isn’t up yet, as I still need to get the telescoping mast to put it up on! (hint hint, Dad=)

Guess what???

Today I went to Kirtland Ohio to take a test to earn an amateur radio license…and I passed! The exam was at the Kirtland library, and it was a long drive(about 40-45 minutes)

When I got to the Kirtland Library, I was so scared but I prayed that I would do well, and God helped me to recall all that I studied(well, I remembered most of it anyways=). I took the test, and handed it in, then the examiner brought it back to me and told me that I had passed. Right then I got a big smile on my face and thanked God for how he helped me study, and learn all the required material(and also to remember it for the test=)

Thanks to all you who prayed for me to do well, I appreciate it very much, and thanks to all of you who taught me and bought me materials to learn with.

I will take some pics when I get the Call Sign in the mail, and hopefully post them on here(if I forget then please email me=).

Rc Airplane with Built-in Gyro Camera

Hello, I didn’t know what to post first, so my sister said to just post something random and it would give me ideas…….. Well here it is!! I found this video a while ago and thought that it was pretty cool. You girls probably will not think that it is cool but oh well. Hope that you enjoy!
